"We arrived at the McCracken Resort at 6pm and were enjoying a schnitzel in very comfortable surroundings within the hour. A great way to start a week-end away. The environment is like an upper class pub and while at that time it was dark, in the summer the views over the golf course would be sensational."

"I have visited Bon Appetit Café many times in past 6 years usually at lunch time and has been packed, always had friendly with good service and tasty food.Today's experience was very poor. No friendly greeting ! Hubby ordered a Meat Pie with sauce and a large cappuccino, I asked for homemade pumpkin and sweet potato soup came with crusty bread, cup of tea also a scone with Jam and cream. Lady seemed absent minded but chatting to male assistant.My soup was tasteless , pie was chewy chunks , I had to ask lady for a fork to go with knife for pie , after finishing my soup, I waited for scone jam and cream to arrive ,smiled at lady but nothing ?I smiled again ! I waited , and waited finally got up and said I'll take my scone with me thankyou. OH sorry forgot!! They had been busy talking... I was given scone in bag , no cream or jam ! We wont be back ...Hubby remark to me when we entered " were are all customers " HUM!!"
