"This place surpassed my expectations. first, it is a beautiful room. dog-friendly also. we ate from the a la carte menu (picture.) I had to start the soft bowl collar and the oktopus as main. I have rarely seen softly peeled crab on a menu in Britain, when I have seen it has been bad, so I have ordered more in the hope than expected. it was great. crispy, sweet and juicy. the accompanying green salad was a great guide. the main octopus court was incredibly tender, according to my opinion, they should not interfere with the king Prawn-Squid, as it distracts from the sheer quality of the cooking taste of the oktopus. we shared a dessert of almond-Marmalade cake with mandelbiscuits eis. I'm not a big dessert fan as I don't have a sweet tooth, but that was good. I would have chosen a cheeseboard of local yorkshire lancashire cheese if that had been an option. I just moved into this one, I'm gonna eat again."

"The Scottish lady at the front of house was so lovely, I had just come in from the pouring rain and she made me some tea (it was very nice) and the atmosphere was really nice. The staff make the whole experience. Really recommend."

"The food has always been spot on here, and today I had the most delicious meringue with berries and cream. The coffee is great too and the staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable too. All in all, highly recommended!"
