"My wife and I ate laughs, the children ate a dish with chicken, to both dressed there were hard uncooked kartoffels. the primel was cold and boiled. the salsa was ok the foods were partly far away from what an Italian restaurant should offer we had to wait 1.5 hours for the eating the restaurant was cozy and nicely furnished the dame that served was nice."

"The bistro is located in the building at the entrance of the wildlife park (the visit is really recommended and can be accessed both from the street side and from tourist information. All can be reached on flat ramps, also the toilets. After an extensive visit to the Wildpark (the gripping bird performance is included in the entrance price of 5,00 €! You get very heavy legs. So there's a break in the bistro. The menu has the usual satt manufacturers, among others also the sülze from the farmer Otte as in the brodhaus, Sollingshöhe and others that Mr Macke operates. The student is not bad, but it is necessary to get used to. On and on the plate, so that the corrugation of the can bottom becomes visible. In “better” locals this curvature is halved and slightly displaced, looks better. To do this, roast potatoes, a small salad decoration and, depending on the location, various regranulates. The ambience of the restaurant is very modern, bright with many windows and glass floors. A three-sided fireplace should reflect the proximity of nature. On the terrace are heavy real wooden furniture for about 4 to 6 people table and with sail for shade. The service lady was very competent, friendly and fast. It was supported by the kitchen performance at a slightly larger increase, so it had time to serve. The prices of the most important foods range from 8.90 € for the home maker and 15.50 € for a wild roast in Burgunderrahm. Soups are available for 4.50 €. Since the opening hours are from 11:30 to 17:30, only the lunch time remains for a visit to the food. My recommendation: If you're here, you can eat here. There are no restaurants in this area."

"Already in advance I had met the review of Carsten1972 and became curious. So it turned out that on the second evening of our stay we decided to visit the Waldburg. A reservation was made for 10 people without any problems. But when we arrived with 12 people, a table was added. It was a little tight for the service, but it worked all night. Despite the somewhat uncertain weather, we decided to walk 2.5 km from our accommodation – stop appetite. The Waldburg is located on a very romantic side street from Neuhaus to Holzminden, which is also not too busy. Therefore, a recommendation for overnight stays. There are many private parking available, but there are some steps to the restaurant. The toilets in the cellar are also a problem for the disabled. The toilets are clean, although something has come in the years. The ambience also corresponds to the name, the charm of recent years makes itself clearly noticeable, all slightly dark through the many woods, but clean and tidy. The tables are covered with towels and napkins. When we arrived, our board was already completely covered in a room and immediately “slidable” to the above extension. By the way, the collection and delivery of beverages were also carried out. The beverage prices are fine (mineral water 0.7 to 4.90 € Franciscan yeast wheat 0.5 to 3.40 € are well cooled, the water also in the cooler. The wines ordered were also well tempered. The menus packed in a kind of wooden box are also particularly worth mentioning. Something completely different, though difficult to carry for the service. Although we have ordered from the menu, all dishes came to the table at the same time, served sovereignly from the boss, from the daughter who helped with something insecure, but nevertheless quite neat. The kindness of the two was given all night, as well as attention to the guests. The food without a tadel. Fresh, from the region and suitable for the season. Yes, it goes without finished products! My Schnitzel Viennese style (to €10,50 was a fairly large part, the Pommes Frites was also good and the salad from the buffet I did not. Some of us had ordered various asparagus dishes, all satisfied. For vegetarians there are also three dishes between €9.80 and €10.50. At the end some Espressi (ordered at 2.00 €, very decent quality. The usual “densation aid” such as Weserdrop, Malteserkreuz Aquavit or line Aquavit are priced between € 2.00 and € 2.40, i.e. also within the framework. The way back then helped, even better with the feeder, but some pleasure should also be!"
