"I'll note this restaurant because the sympathy of employees feels very well. Smile, helpful! So first parameter to be highlighted, the welcome!Following, the frame! the coveredoirade being a medieval templier village, the resto goes the same, all vaulted.! the back seat is warm and intimate at once. there is access by the back alley but does not give itself to the sight of all. Then, the grills are made directly to the wood fire of the fireplace and it feels, the accompaniments are fresh and home. the price is a bit above the average, but the frame, the quality of service and dishes justifies it! The price is therefore allowed to accept without problems."

"L'Hospitalier is located in one of the quieter town squares near the southern entrance into the town. Most people probably enter La Couvertoirade through the northern entrance, so it will probably be one of the last places you will see as you make your way around the village.We stopped by for a snack in the middle of the afternoon. Many of the restaurants were closed at the time, but L'Hospitalier was one of the few places open. We sat at one of the outdoor tables in the square along with about a half dozen other tourists who were mostly there for coffee or ice cream.We ordered the charcuterie plate, a cheese plate (see photos) and 2 glasses of wine. Each plate came with a small green salad - simple, but very fresh with a nice dressing. The 3 cheeses (one hard Cantal-like, one Camembert-like and one Roquefort-like) and 3 meats (one saucisson, one jambon and one pate) were all very good and were accompanied by a basket of bread. Our waitress was a high schooler, who provided prompt and courteous service.The total came to under 20 Euros which we found to be very reasonable in such a touristy village. They also serve various pizzas (8 to 9.20 Euros), ice creams and sorbets (1.70 Euros for 1 scoop, 3.30 Euros for 2, 4.50 Euros for 3) and various daily menus that range from 7.50 to 9.90 Euros (see photo). Overall, we found L'Hospitalier to be a pleasant place to dine at a reasonable price."

"This cafe with outdoor seating seemed like the perfect place for lunch. The menu was posted outside the cafe and offered several choices options. We sat at a table and waited for at least 10 minutes before someone came to the table to talk to us. They had a pizza/salad with a drink option on the chalkboard. We were informed that they no longer had pizza (usually someone erases items no longer available). We each ordered a salad. In the meantime, another party arrived . The server took their order almost immediately, which they received before our order arrived. They also were served pizza. We don't expect food to arrive in minutes, but waited 45 minutes for our salads to arrive.The server informed us that they had a large party indoors that was taking extra time. The salads were simple salads with some vinaigrette and walnuts, but no tomatoes, carrots or other vegetables that were typically included in salads that we had in France. The food was fine, but the whole experience was atypical for our trip in the region. Maybe they need additional wait staff or kitchen staff during the busy tourist season. They also need to update their menus."

"10 minute drive to nearest Bank...and you would have to pay exit parking of 4 euros....surprising stance..other restaurant in village excepting cards...i have been to the village before...i thank last time we had cash.."

"I booked this meal through facebook as I wanted a vegan option and it can be hard to find. The food that they gave to me and the other 5 in our party was delicious and as it was explained, all from the local area. They were super friendly from the booking process, right the way through. We were seated us in a shaded garden just across the little street, which was a perfect place to spend a sunny lunch time. The apero's and wine were fabulous too. We had a great time here and would not hesitate to eat there again when we go back. A wonderful interlude thank you."
