"The environment is full of beautiful feeling. The flowers placed in the hall outside the place made the environment very beautiful and romantic. The food and dessert were wonderful. My son is very bad at food. The only restaurant he eats is here. Excellent service is undoubtedly five stars"

"Another nice Miller and Carter restaurant with very nice food and atmosphere. The service was ok, the staff very friendly but 2 things were missing when the order was served so they needed to be reminded. Not a huge problem and everything was easily resolved."

"The restaurant was a little short-staffed as one of the team was away but the food was excellent and the service courteous. Salmon with coconut curry for me and venison pie for my husband who declared it very good. This is one of the best places in the Village to drop in for anything from a cup of coffee to a full meal and we go there quite often."

"We came in and we were served from Natalia. Even though it was o’clock in the morning she was lovely patient and delivered impeccable customer service. We would percent recommend it. Natalia deserves a raise for being as lovely as she was in that difficult hour! Food was amazing as well boys did a great job!"

"Had a fab meal, 11 of us including 4 children. we would have with a bigger table especially as we had booked and pub was quiet. Apart from that no complaining, eating was great and helpful staff."

"Bad Egg opened just before Christmas last year and is the latest venture from Scottish barbecue guru Neil Rankin, former head chef of Pitt Cue and John Salt. "We have been regulars at this coffee shop since it opened. The coffee is the best we’ve had anywhere and the food is also terrific. We’ve recently moved away from the area and one of the things I miss most is a decent flat white so when we had reason to come back to the area today this was a must visit. The family and staff are always friendly and welcoming and it was lovely to be back. Do visit you won’t be disappointed."

"Visited the Alex for our weekly Sunday roast. The roast was good. The staff behind the bar were really friendly. I would have rated it 4/5 stars however the only thing letting it down was the gap between the starter and main course (roughly 45 mins)."
