"My partner and I spent the evening in Cafe Cathedral. As we had some lunch earlier in the day all that we wanted was some coffees and to relax. We spent some time there and the service was reasonable. We asked for the bill and our waiter gave it to us without problem. As we were leaving, another waiter came over to us with the bill tray saying that if you like you can leave a tip. His manner was extremely rude. He stood quite close to us and specifically watched us as we were getting ready to leave, making us feel quite uncomfortable. We had payed our dues for what we had consumed but we felt this waiter wanted more. I felt that we had the right to leave this establishment in comfort. This was not the case."

"Clearly, this is the latest See and Be Seen place in town. The decor is entertaining, the designer creating several dining areas and alcoves. The place has marketed itself very well. The menu copy was enticing and entertaining. The chef even came out to our table to introduce herself. Unfortunately, a waiter who has worked at many Morelia establishments was also there, making a point to hand me his card, asking that I request one of his tables on my next visit. Apparently, he must have forgotten that he made a sneering remark to me at one of his previous employments that left me with a bad feeling. What was he thinking? Now, on to those infernal Mason jars. What are they doing in an expensive restaurant with a cloth tablecloth? And while that dessert menu comprised of cards strung together on a ring was clever, it was also in tatters. I really do not wish to share fingerprints from those who've touched those menus before me. I'd like to like this place, but I can't."
