"The issue I had was when we arrived our table was not ready. We were advised that sometimes people do not show and if someone walks in they will give your table away. We had to go for a walk and come back minutes later. The food and service was great. I told them that it is best they do not take reservations so the public knows what to expect. If they say they take reservations they need to honour this. We were not the only ones who had to wait for up to an hour to get seated"

"I recently moved to Niagara-on-The-Lake and this was one of my first stops in the area! The selection was amazing and the experience was seamless; a lot of gluten-free/vegan options catering to those with allergies as well. Would love to see more organic options flow...though for fruits/vegetables however, I will be a regular customer here and very much felt the warm welcome. Mary was very helpful and answered all of my questions. Thanks again!"

"We stopped in at Walkers for a drink and and a snack after a trek through the gorge. We picked the egg salad sandwiches. The sandwich was great, the egg filling was bursting from the bread, the bread and filling were fresh and enjoyable. Sat out from for awhile and watched the world go by, quite relaxing."

"I have eaten at the Benchmark many times and have always been delighted. Yesterday's experience makes me consider a serious rethink. I was lunching with seven old friends celebrating years as founders of a local institution. The waiter was excellent; the food was a...considerable disappointment. It took forever to arrive and when it did I thought to return it to the kitchen but we had been nearly two hours and I was hungry and ate what was offered though it was below acceptable. Now several at the table seemed happy but not all. To make matters worse I am a retired faculty member so was doubly embarrassed. I will return with hopes."

"Stopped in for lunch and ate on the patio which was very well set up. We had Greek Chicken wrap with refreshing salad and Greek Chicken sandwich with Greek style French fries. Everything was yummy and portion very generous. Our server, Karen was delightful. This...was our second time here and would recommend Fournos for delicious food and excellent selection to choose from."

"Both the service and the food were horrible. We were there on Sunday, September for dinner. We asked for a wine, the waitress brought an other one, saying it would be better and the same price. It was bad and more expensive. The...soup had no taste. The salmon with mash avocado came with avocado that were not mash. It was more solid than a rock. The carbonara pasta came with no sauce, the steak, even if cooked properly, had no taste. The four of us were totally disappointed. When we left, an other couple was telling to someone not to go because it was horrible. So it was not only the four of us. Since it was very expensive, it was totally inacceptable."

"First off I have to compliment my man Steve for giving us a wonderful tour of the vineyard and cellars! He was extremely friendly, caring, and passionate about what he does, and please lest I forget the great stories he told us to seal in the lessons he taught! I wish we had had time to eat because their food menu looked exemplary! The wines are absolutely amazing, it was great to learn the processes on how they are made!! Keep it up folks!"
