"Went for a night out to have some dinner and watch the Trotts sadly the Trotts are dying slowly and that could be because of a number of things that have changed at Globe Derby. We decided that we would have the buffet and sit at the window which was great viewing as it was a cold night. The buffet well its ok, the cold meat and salad section was very small one platter of assorted cold meat, the fish was disgusting, and the prawns were nice. The hot foods was ok and they had a nice selection of cakes and cheese but for the amount of people eating it was not enough. For this amount of eating customers you always have more not less.Overall it needs to be up dated and it needs new marketing to get people to go to the Trotts and have a great night."

"Well i can say the venue seemed quite nice at the beginning and the staff very friendly then it all went down hill quickly!!!! We ordered our meals of a porterhouse for the wife, 2 kids steak meals and a kids schnitzel for my self as i had just eaten a little earlier and didn't want to just sit there as the family ate their meals, also a pint and glass of wine. Quickly the kids meals arrived and when the waitress realised i was eating the schnitzel she pretty much threw it down at me in quite a rude way, a couple of minutes later the lady who served me came to the table and began to give me this lecture in a loud voice so all the tables near by could hear that it is not acceptable that...read more"

"Went with friends for lunch in the sports bar normally would only get schnitzels from a bar but wanted something different so tried the Herb Marinated Spring Chicken Breast with avocado and béarnaise sauce.Mine looked a little pink but still started eating it till I got to the bone and I know you can get a little red around the joint but this was too much and my partner could not eat hers we did complain and they got the cook and also gave us 2 meal vouchers to come back.Also we were not sick so ended up ok but next time stay with the schnitzel."
