"Last Sunday my wife and I went for breakfast.We couldn't find a table that wasn't prepared with cutlery etc.At some point a server came over and asked if we wanted coffee. we said decaf and she said she would brew a pot. However not giving us a menu or telling us what the buffet was about. Finally I went up and asked if we could go to the buffet. "sure".We scrounged around for some cutlery for our table had the food from the buffet.Now the scrambled eggs were very good, as were the home fries... Bacon and sausage were...well as they are. The fruit cocktail was overly sweet, probably from a can of something but I couldn't discern the various fruit flavours due to the excess sweetness.As we ate other customers were walking around the restaurant looking for cutlery and napkins.We saw at least three servers during our visit but none seemed to care about getting the tables ready and being attentive to customers.The only time we were asked if we wanted a coffee refill is when we asked for our bill.In true transparency I did send an email to Caiger's owner Mark with a private email. Since I have not received a response I decided to got public.My wife and I wanted to take our grand daughter to Caigers next weekend, but she now doesn't want to go due to such poor service.David"

"This inn is a historic property and it's in a beautiful spot, but it really needs some serious renovation to bring the rooms up to a standard that justifies the prices. "I visited there many times. It was always a good experience. The food is always boiled to order... Hot, Fresh Delicious. The staff was always friendly, attentively very helpful, even if their rush hour. Many times, the owner, when he is there, will come a point and welcome people to always say with a smile and some kind. Take a large or small group there.... You'll be glad you did it."
