"We had a 3 course menu gourmand for 25€. Fish soup followed by a salmon fillet with roasted veggies and a steak tartare followed by a raspberry tiramisu . The whole meal was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient and despite it being a very chilly day. The heaters in the outside area were effective and welcoming.Would highly recommend."

"We chose La Voile d’Or to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary with six friends. My wife has been going there since she was a child. We were provided with an excellent table on the high terrace overlooking the pool. Furthermore the quality of the food was good. The service, however, left much to be desired We had difficulty ordering the wine we wanted which is very strange as there is only a limited wine list. On at least three occasions I had to top up people’s glasses as there was no one around to do it. Furthermore once I had to leave the table to order an extra bottle of wine. The worst, however, concerned the valet parking. On leaving the person responsible for the valet parking had left leaving no one else who could drive and failing to tell the other staff where our car was parked. I therefore had to search all three floors of the garage to no effect, as it turned out the car was parked in the road, despite the garage being no more than half full. The member of staff who accompanied me to the garage left me while I was searching the street. So the upshot of all this is that we were not left with a very good experience/memory of one of the most important events of our lives, especially when it cost nearly €1,300."

"We wanted to try this restaurant thank to the high Tripadvisor's rating. It was a real delusion. My sushi were cold and the noodles with unfrozen shrimps were not great neither. It is pity. The owner was nice but it doesn't explain this rating."

"Excellent sandwiches, wraps and white cheese fruit salads! on quality nothing to say!the reception? horrible! Unfortunately for us we have fallen on the bourgeois woman who has not been able to count us the good price of the menu, even less rendering us the currency and who finally accused us of lying! So we preferred to leave without getting our money back, otherwise it was going to be degenerated! She was overwhelmed the poor there were three clients. Poor girl!"

"A great location in front of the old port and great food too. A good selection of dishes beautifully prepared and presented.Even vegetarians in this 'fish' dominated region will be cooked something special without any effort. Highly recommended.On our first visit a few years ago we went on consecutive evenings as we were so impressed and they decorated the table specially. We love it."

"One of my favorite restaurants in st jean. I was here for dinner for the first time in 2015, the following year, it changed direction, but not the quality of food. excellent and fresh fish, very friendly owners and an authentic atmosphere compared to the other artifacts a bit of the port."
