"While it was interesting to try the various cuts of meat some of the meat was not cooked properly. Especially, bacon and sausage that were under cooked. The salad bar was a disgrace to any decent restaurant let alone a 250 pesos/plate venue. The service was good but the location was very noisy on the patio."

"We ate here once and enjoyed the food. I would say more of an Asian Fusian menu, not Thai per se. We had various soups and Vietnamese style rolls. Everything was good, and the service was excellent. A place we would return to."

"As of the beginning of March 2017 this is no longer a traditional barbecue outlet. It is now a casual sit down/ take out shop that will seat about eight people. The menu is simple but of high quality: excellent burgers, as well as sliced...sirloin and sliced pork sandwiches. The sourdough buns are perfect! There is a choice of four or five variations per item: traditional, Mexican, Spanish, etc. The place is immaculate. The offerings are reasonably priced, high quality and savory. The overall concept is simple: provide high quality food in a small, immaculate and friendly environment. The owner, who works here, is very friendly and speaks fluent English. Hours are 12:00 to 18:00 Tuesday through Saturday."

"I wanted to correct a mistake in my rating of 9/14. We were recently in San Miguel (7/15 and were delighted to return to Casa Chiquita. When searching for their vegan options (we always make sure!) the staff kindly told us that there are honey in the crust. The cook told us he would make us a vegan crust in a few days. We gave him our email address and emailed them a few days later, but no answer to the vegan crust. Cudos, to be honest. We're sorry we couldn't separate ourselves. We also did not want others to be misled by my previous review. 9/14Great wood fire pizza. Not many selections (they only serve pizza!), but the veggie (without cheese was fabulous. The pizza oven and the execution can be found at the entrance of Hotel Casa Chiquita. If you decide to stay there and eat what you should if you can on three flights from stairs to the roof where there are three tables and some Adirondack chairs, a pond and beautiful garden area. The view of the Parroquia, the roofs and the surrounding countryside is a spectacular setting for delicious dishes. If you go in the evening, make sure that an additional layer can make it cool! Would give 5 stars if they don't serve meat. Updated by previous rating on Wednesday, 24. September 2014"

"For a high end restaurant food was fair. Martinis had to be remade. Ordered dry but got mainly vermouth. I had the wagyu flank which was good. The puréed parsnips were delicious, I think! Since there was only a bite it was hard to tell. My partner never received his order. They didn’t have the wine that was suggested to go with each entree. Very disappointing. We will not go back. It was way too expensive to take another chance."
