"My companion and I stopped in for a first class meal on one of our last nights in Melaque. We were not disappointed. We started with a bottle of full bodied red which we sipped as we listened to the great Mexican music. I ordered the lightly seared tuna and he ordered the bacon wrapped filet. Well, what a show and what great flavours. I would highly recommend this restaurant for that special night out."

"It serves exceptional food at surprisingly competitive prices in a lovely, roofed, open-air setting on the upper floor of a well kept building in Melaque. If you like beautifully prepared and presented food, this restaurant is not to be missed. Sadly, we have to leave...or we would certainly be back for more."

"Bigotes has a simple menu and does a nice job with it. Got the lunch bill today for the 6 of us including a round or two of drinks and it came to about 800 pesos or $48 US or maybe $150 cdn :) Great outdoor dining right on the beach. Not a must see when you go to Melaque but definitely a great option for casual beach dining."

"Staff were fantastic. This restaurant has been established for a few years with food being excellent from the first day of opening to being consistent and always referred to as one of the best restaurants in Melaque by other tourists. Enjoyed the food, staff and family once again. A real treat!"

"We went to this breakfast place twice in our 5 day stay in Melaque. The food was typical Mexican options with a few American items like pancakes in the mix. The staff was kind and attentive. We liked sitting in the "outdoor-esque" section where you could feel like you were outside but not burning in the sun because of the see-through roof protection.Food and coffee were good but not extraordinary. For the price, it was just what we needed."
