We have dined here several times. It is a unique setting for this area. Once you get in the atmosphere is great. It's like a big pool party ( with no one n the pool). The have wonderful music. Food is very good. We like the steak. Hard to get good steak in Melaque. Recommend to anyone. read more.

What User doesn't like about La Salamandra:
We enjoyed and evening with friends but, despite the great attention and service, I left feeling a little down. The sopa Aztec was large but lukewarm and not the best I have ever had. My coconut shrimp was a mistake, too much batter, too much coconut and way too dry to be fit to eat. My friends liked it better but I think that was just the ambiance, large margaritas and free tequila shooters before the meal read more.
