"On today's totally rainy Friday we drove by bus to Bad Reichenhall to stroll there a little. We learned that we end our holiday one day earlier due to the bad weather forecast, and that we already arrive on Saturday. A little far away in the district Königssee and by us by chance two days before the approx. 1000 m descent from Jennerhang down to Königssee. When entering the Café Terrasse there was not a guest present, and so we had to go inside and ask if guests who are not served in the house are served at all. The friendly lady who came to meet us and was probably the boss of the house, chased this and so we could take a seat outside. It was afternoon, and after the strenuous hike, the women whispered for coffee and cake. A small selection of homemade cakes has been offered to our ladies orally. The decision was made on the freshly baked Zwetschgendatschi, which was later charged with €3 on the buck, with a cup of coffee for €2.90. A nicely large piece occupied the plate, with enough cream. The Dachi adored our two companions both what affected the taste and consistency. The coffee is hot as you wish. The 0.5 l Helles from the barrel from the Berchtesgadener brewery for the Schönauer low price of 3.20 € sintered well cooled by the throats of the men. As we reached the terrace from the back of the house, I discovered a showroom at the front when I walked, where some hot and cold dishes were offered for the time between 17.30 and 9:00. Here the pricing was clearly below the level we previously found in Schönau, so we kept the Brandtnerhof in our back. For our last dinner in Schönau we decided on Friday night for the Brandtnerhof. As we wanted to refuel for the return journey and it was still raining, we drove by car. We entered the good room around 6:00 and were actually the first guests. The boss greeted us kindly without letting us know that she recognized us again and left us free choice. The menu was handed over and pointed out that the hot dishes included a salad that can be made of glass bowls on a table in front of the counter itself. Our drinks were ordered quickly: The women red wine from Burgenland (0.25 l, 3.50 € , nothing outstanding, but well drinkable to eat. For gentlemen, the now usual light from Berchtesgaden at the same price as under the week, namely € 3.20 for the half. Flott was served the drinks and we could also give up the food order. We just did the kitchen. Both pairs ordered identical. The girls Swiss delicacies, a pork steak baked with cheese and mushrooms, with roasters (11.80 € and the boys pork rinds with pepper cream sauce and pumice. After completion of the order, we made ourselves directly to assemble the salad from the counter. Small bowls were ready for it. Approx. eight different salads, freshly made, three different dressings to choose from, plus various roasted grains to choose from. Completely sufficient and still good taste. While we were busy with the salad, the guest room filled with predominantly house guests who had booked half board. A few external guests also found themselves, so the boss, who threw the service alone, had a lot to do. But she had everything under control. In the kitchen, what I saw was three people. The waiting period for the food was pleasant. Shortly after we had eaten our salad, the main dishes were already served. The portion for the girls was quite large. Her pork ridge steak is slightly thicker, but tender, over it the rich cheese with mushrooms baked. A cream sauce level spread around the meat. Four roasters, as well as a small salad deco, completed the plate filled with impact. Despite saturation, they fought until the end and left nothing on the plate. An indication that it tasted them. Swiss delicacies The bastards for me and the brother-in-law had to be served on a somewhat larger plate. That's what the whole thing looked like on the plate. In addition, we had a different idea among pigs than the two thin specimens of meat on the plate. We suspected unisono that this was also more like crippled pigs' backs that had been fried. Maybe this is so common in the area. The fact is, however, that the pepper cream sauce was extremely good. Pleasant sharpness, not too many green peppercorns, I would say. Okay, I didn't need the Klecks cream. The Pommes were also to our satisfaction. Not too fat, good at bite, actually as we like them. Pepper cream sauce Typical inn with floor and decor typical as you know since the 1980s. All clean. Tables tidy with tablecloths. A candle was lit, small pepper and salt mills as well as a small flower in a small vase completed the table ensemble. The walls are fully paved with pictures and photos. The seating is comfortable so that cosiness comes up. To the toilet you have to go to the basement. A wide staircase of the stairway leads down where you can find brand new, most modern, picco bello clean locations where you can do your big or small business. Conclusion: We found our chance hit okay. If we come back to the Königssee, we would surely return there again. If you are interested in a stay at Brandtnerhof, you can find out on the proper website of the house. For the Rezi, I had to re-register the house to GG. For people who want to spend a little less money in the area than in most other restaurants, quite a secret tip."

"Very nice beer garden under the trees. However, we sat a bit away from the food, despite reservation. The ladies were super nice and friendly! Unfortunately, we both have not been satisfied with the selection of the recommendation card, neither the deer, nor the potenknöpfli. Had to reorder salad and garlic bread. If I had known that, I would have ordered cheese parrots that I usually never could, here it would have been the perfect size The food was tastefully really a dream, everything!!!"

"I love restaurants where everything fits from first to last bites. Here it is! The pizzas (almost cart wheel format) are mega tasty, just like the (naturally self-made) Tiramisu.
