"Well, I didn't think this pub could get worse than it was before the new team. It did. I will not get bored with the bad sides as the other last reviews already have. Oh, there is definitely one thing that got worse, the staff!, Curt, inconspicuous,...sometimes at the cache in the corner while you wait unattended at the bar. And God knows who the manager is. I won't go again, and before people say that there are problems with employees, go to the Amhurst Inn, or any other decent pub. I tried to be a customer, but abandoned."

"A little more expensive but excellent quality. Great to see some alternative, more sustainable choices like mackerel, sea bass, skate and whitebait. These days the British public want more than the usual boring, cod, haddock and plaice options and this provides them. However, I would avoid swordfish as it is not sustainably fished at present. I would love to see grilled sardines as well. Also healthy and vegetarian options like a side salad and butternut squash pie. Also great to see alternative drinks to coke and fanta. Good quality soft drinks and wines available to buy. If I had one quibble then it would that six squid rings were shown on the website photo but we only got four. Generally good sized portions. Otherwise, I regard this as a very welcome modern fish and chips in Sevenoaks and highly recommended. BTW still showing review from when it was a kebab takeaway. These should be removed to avoid confusion."

"We went to my wife's birthday and had a wonderful evening. the food was excellent. the waiter explained not only the ingredients, but also the origin of the many different meal times in the mezze we had ordered. the staff was extremely friendly and we had a special evening there."

"The food is absolutely AMAZING, this is now one of my favourite restaurants. Staff was very friendly and approachable, the wait for the food is not long. The atmosphere is very relaxed, cosy and vibrant. I am writing this review in the car on the way back from the White Hart and I already cannot wait to be back"

"Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, also very inviting. Went on a Friday evening. I believe the food selection is different on a Sunday but its a good idea to call and ask depending on what day it is, also good to check if booking is needed incase. During winter the weekly selection of food is varied so good idea to ask when calling. You can eat inside or out as plenty of space and the gardens are very well kept, the area inside to the back of the building is all glass and also a lovely area to eat in. Looking forward to going again as I recommend highly to all who haven't been yet."
