This is a take away food outlet offering the same menu as their nearby Hattusa eat-in restaurant. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The menu is typical Greek Turkish and very good too. There are also a few other items available in chiller cabinets that you might want to add to your take away i.e. nice beers etc. all at a fair price. Very good. View all feedback.
What whitendale567 doesn't like about Hattusa Shop:
I have been dining at Hattusa for years, but when I recently ordered the Patlican Sosu, I noticed that it was £1 more expensive. It used to be £4.45, but now it's £5.45. This represents a 22% price increase. Additionally, when I got home, I discovered a small, dry, cold piece of pita bread instead of the large, warm, and moist bread I used to receive. The service was also not very friendly. Unfortunately, these price... View all feedback.
Tried the vine fish and chips instead of tom bells, just to have a change and it is reopened. good size large part of chips with small cod, came in a box with free piece lemon and tartar sauce. the sauce was not in a bag, but in a small pot. chips were nicely cooked and the fish slightly broken if not a bit soft and not so huge. they take credit cards that are a bonus. cost £10 compared to £9 at tom bells. total good experience and fast service. open on Sundays.
We visited this fish chip shop for the first time yesterday and will definitely return. the eating was nice, most beautiful fish chips we had for one (also my daughter who refuses to eat fish tries some and enjoyed it! . the staff was also very nice and friendly.
Very good fish and chips and not too much teig. very pleasant staff. to recommend
Vine fish chips are excellent. for the first time on Friday we were happier. the best chips in sevenoaks of a land mile and the portions are fantastic. I can't wait to go back.
A little more expensive but excellent quality. Great to see some alternative, more sustainable choices like mackerel, sea bass, skate and whitebait. These days the British public want more than the usual boring, cod, haddock and plaice options and this provides them. However, I would avoid swordfish as it is not sustainably fished at present. I would love to see grilled sardines as well. Also healthy and vegetarian options like a side salad and butternut squash pie. Also great to see alternative drinks to coke and fanta. Good quality soft drinks and wines available to buy. If I had one quibble then it would that six squid rings were shown on the website photo but we only got four. Generally good sized portions. Otherwise, I regard this as a very welcome modern fish and chips in Sevenoaks and highly recommended. BTW still showing review from when it was a kebab takeaway. These should be removed to avoid confusion.
