"Went here once to eat lunch and once for a function we booked for a celebration. Prices for the function were very reasonable. A flat rate room fee and from then per head for food with 4 teir food packages to choose from. Bronze through to gold. And just $2 per head cakeage. There were av facilities we used a large projector screen to show photos from a laptop and we didn't use the speakers though they no doubt would have been suitable. The food and service was fantastic quality and plenty. although a lazy Sunday afternoon and only us in the entire restaurant the staff didn't rush us out or pressure us to leave. I'd love to give 5 stars but honestly it was difficult to get return correspondence from the restaurant manager when trying to iron out the details as to what was included and not in the fees. We even went in to approach him personally to ask and the wait staff relayed his message that we would have to make an appointment to see him."

"We enjoyed a tasty and economical meal on the attractive balcony, overlooking the Leven River. We chose the main meals King Prawns in Creamy Garlic Sauce, and Crumbed Scallops with chili lemon ginger dipping sauce. Both came with chips and salad. Serves are generous. More than half a dozen plump king prawns, and an equally satisfying quantity of sweet Tasmanian scallops. The chips were very good. Crisp on the outside, moist within. Service prompt and friendly. This restaurant is well worth patronizing."

"Beautiful tasting of chicken and mushroom cake with salad. Drinks are very well inexpensive and the café had a nice clean and cozy feeling. The disorder with gift shop feels out, as well as no raspberry cascade bottles."

"Yeah a seafood place that also offers excellent non-seafood meals. The wife really enjoyed her cray, whilst I feasted on a lamb shank! Excellent service, beer on tap, views all supporting high-quality food."

"Food super salty fairly expensive for what it is albeit of reasonable quality. Mish mash of accompanying salads clashing dressings is unnecessary off putting. Table service friendly prompt."

"Just had the best chips ever, hands down. Crispy on the outside, and soft and hot on the inside. They were topped with regular salt, and just tasted soooo good. Value was alright for the $5 as well. The best chips between Penguin and Turner's beach area."
