"The food was a kind of gland and it lacked any sensible season. The steak I got was not medium rare but barely cooked, and even after returning was rare and the quality was not indicative for the $58 price. The meat was hard and tasteless. The mashed potatoes contained too much cream and gave no taste in addition to the strong milk consistency The dessert was underwhelming and unoriginal. I also found the lack of green salad choices a little strange. I was often in Paris and was never in any restaurant without a salad. Gabarinos owned by the same person below is a solid 4-star Italian restaurant that has never disappointed. I will not return to Twisted Frenchman...Paris 66 Bistro is much better for authentic French cuisine. For the $200 we spent, I would have got a much better meal at Altius, Hyde Park or Capital Grill."

"We sat after our reservation. when we finally sat, many of the entrees were no longer available. instead we ordered salat and pommes and the waitress was clearly annoyed that we didn't order any escape. we also ordered riders who have never arrived. the waitress gave us no attention and never checked whether we were in order. this type of services is not acceptable at a place like paris 66"

"My kind of place!. This is probably one of the best bars I have been to since moving to Pittsburgh. While I understand why it might not be for everyone, it is absolutely up my ally. First, the jukebox is amazing tons upon tons of old punk, rock n roll, and lounge. If the juke isn't on, it doesn't really matter, because the staff always has great music on anyhow! I love the atmosphere dark, vintage, and divey. I have tried the fish tacos, macaroni and cheese, and polish plate all on key and fairly priced no complaints! Additionally, they make some classy, outstanding cocktails. Try the mojito! If I was within walking distance to this place I could easily be here every night so maybe it is best I don't live so close..."
