"I visited Katie’s for leisure and enjoyed every bit of the chicken po boy. They serve a variety of dishes. Including fresh caught not older than 3 days seafood. The food was FRESH! My meal was big enough to feed 3 people!Also tried the Mexican corn on the cob! Enjoyed every second of it!!"

"Perfect dinner experience at Shucks Tavern and Oyster Bar. I had a few friends recommend this place to me. The food was fabulous. The place offers different kinds of oysters. We got a dozen East Coast oysters, they were amazing and fresh. Plus the Oysters Rockefeller were delicious. The Aguachile a Mexican dish made with shrimp had a nice presentation, great texture and flavor with a kick of serrano peppers. The Blackened Snapper was amazing. The fish was perfectly blackened with a delicious cream sauce on the side. The atmosphere and decor were very nice. We will definitely be back. PS the staff was great."

"A great local café with a lot of charm. The menu is full of sandwiches, salads, tacos and burgers. Brunch closes by 2. You also have wine. (2 people-no drinks-$30 w tip) Tried the Pesto Pasta and Shrimp Tacos and they were both good! The Pesto Pasta was more of a salad and the tacos were a bit simple but satisfying. The terrace was beautiful and spacious and people even brought their dogs."

"Nice place for dinner. Good menu, great service, uplifted with casual atmosphere, love the marina view, large outdoor terrace. The bar area is really nice. They serve warm popovers with the meal that was a beautiful treat. Portion sizes are good as my wife and I baked a fillet, salad and potato and it was a lot to eat. They charge $5 to share the meal I found angry. Overall, excellent place."

"Love this place. The atmosphere is like the name. A fun mishmash. There is a little Christmas photo area too. Most importantly the food is fantastic. The flavor is excellent and it's visually appealing too. Even though I'm full I just want one more bite to bring the flavor layers back to my mouth. Service was quick too. Highly recommend if you're going to or from Moody Gardens like us. Also don't forget to try the home made cinnamon rolls! Ask if they'll heat them a bit."
