"Proximity to my hotel and a desire for sushi brought me in here, but then I read the reviews about the average sushi and decided to order the pad Thai. Big mistake. I'm not a pad Thai expert, but I'm pretty sure it was the worst I've ever had, and that includes frozen entrees. The noodles were round, not flat, the consistency of the sauce was more like broth but syrupy sweet, there was no spice whatsoever, and the other ingredients were barely there. On the plus side, they had a good selection of Montana beers on tap, and the service was incredibly fast and accommodating...although the unsmiling host made me think a little less highly of the service."

"Nice place, kind of a niche menu….. Our server was attentive and very pleasant. Our food was not great. I had a bowl (jasmine rice, chicken, peppers, sauce). The rice was undercooked and still crunchy and there was way too much sauce, it was almost soupy."

"From the waiter to the food, just not a pleasant experience. Waiter had no customer service skills, not friendly at all, and didn't even smile. Idk just a tip, don't be a waiter if you can't. I would have rated the place two stars if we had good customer service for sure. The poutine was borderline terrible. It tasted bitter and smoky, almost like burnt plastic, which was definitely a product from microwaving it for so long. Gravy didnt really have a flavor. They didn't bring us plates until we were already finished with it. The steak on the tacos was actually unedible; complete rubbery fat, huge chunks; not cooked or cut correctly for tacos. So I ended up just eating tortillas with lettuce lol. I will not return, unless a family gathering picks it. Probably a decent place for drinks though, but I am sober. Yes the food looks good in the pictures, but that was where it ended. The best part of the experience was the piece of bacon I stole off my dad's burger, crispy and great flavor."

"Not too impressed with The Midway. We decided to go to lunch with some family and had a bigger group. It took about 10-15 minutes for our waitress to bring over drinks or even address our table at all. When we started ordering I tried to make it easier on her and let her know we (my husband, daughter and I) would be on a separate ticket from the others. I ordered the Triple B burger with no onions and the waitress substituted the Brie on the burger for provolone as they were out of it. My husband ordered shrimp tacos, and we ended up ordering a grilled cheese and soup for our daughter. After 45 minutes of waiting our food finally came out, I cut my burger in half, and saw there there was a bunch of onions. After trying to get our waitress’ attention for the opportunity to get my burger fixed how I ordered it, my burger was taken to the back and the onions just scraped off and brought back out to me, and then our waitress disappeared. Our drinks were never refilled for anyone at the table. The waitress never brought ranch for others at the table and then when the check came it wasn’t split. So after we were told they could split the ticket they can’t? Seems strange. The waitress never checked in to see how the food was, or topped off drinks. My first time at The Midway, and I won’t be back. The worst experience I had. I understand being short staffed but this was ridiculous."

"We use to go there a lot in the past, although my huh fried steak was not the best tasting at all really, my family enjoyed there dinner very much and my children had fun really enjoyed the kamin and watching it. it was a nice quiet night. johnny spuds were great."
