"Dropped by without reservation a busy saturday evening; they quickly found us a table next to the kitchen which was quite okay. We had bruschette for starters (why is it that bruschette and crostini are confused even in Italian restaurants? and filetto di manzo with Gorgonzola sauce for main course. The quite small bruschette were okay, but I could easily have made them better at home. The filetto was not from the best part of the fillet; on the other hand there was really a lot of sauce. The dish was served with small, nicely tasting bread from the pizza oven. 61€ including one espresso and two grappe on the house. The service was attentive and friendly all the way throug although there were many people in the restaurant. I counted more than 10 different lamps in the restaurant, strange non matching colours on the walls and other hidious details... An okay place to go if you don't expect something too fine."

"In a quiet side street, next to the inconspicuous Aegidienkirche, the Lübeck Bummler finds this beautiful place. In summer weather, you can take a seat outside, the old church-house in the back. If it rains or is cold, there is a cozy place inside. The beautiful chairs and benches are beautiful. The card is quickly handed over, where you can find changing daily dishes in addition to breakfasts, salads and soups. Vegetarian dishes have their own place, as well as offers for children. In the afternoon, a varied cake buffet tempts. Served on and in beautiful, in-house dishes (prepared in the Marli workshops. All foods and drinks are from good to excellent quality (Bioland, Fairtrade ; it is respected from house to high quality, and that is also noticeable (although not at the prices, because these are kept in a very pleasant setting: coffee 1.95 cake 2,60 large salad 8,20 3 courses lunch 18, menu . The service personnel operate with commitment and great friendliness. Manch a guest is irritated, because they are residents of Marli Heime, who find an employment or training place here. I like to go to this restaurant and have always been satisfied."

"Ich war im April da und weil die meisten Restaurant am 1 Mai geschlossen hatten sind wir auch dort Essen gegangen. Das Essen war,wie immer gut. Wir mussten leider, auf den Wein sehr lange warten. Mit der Vorspeise waren wir schon längst fertig. Es war viel Betrieb. Die Bedingung ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommen ."
