The subsequent visit to Portofino led to the second restaurant review of our lives and laid the foundation for a mostly positive but also interesting and exciting hobby. Unfortunately, today's visit at this time could not be linked to the positive experiences. Maybe it was just a bad day today, maybe it's the result of the last two years. We can't know. Portofina is just steps from Treysa Train Station. Arriving by car, you are able to park two hours free in a parking garage just a few meters away. A successful train of the city to attract customers to Treysa, because since the start of the construction of a new shopping center in the middle of Treysa, the parking lot is the highest shortage. We were kindly received by a bright, quiet, young man in service and led into the adjoining room, which is defined by a wooden wall with open windows from the inside with counter. I also know that at that time the onion soup was out, and I had to choose an alternative. A new attempt today. Since my wife had chosen a meat dish as main dish Schnitzel Wiener Kunst, I looked at a delicious sounding pizza. The choice fell on Pizza Capricciosa, which contained most of my favorite pads, and I had refined you with extra garlic for 70 cents. Shortly later I got the spoon for the soup and don't trust my ears again. But we both heard this is so good with the cutlery or would they like to have sticks? I was so blurred that I only agreed and said everything was fine. But slowly I felt a little bit taken on my arm and wanted to offer the joker as little as possible in the further course. In me, an association with Harold began to manifest himself from the film Harold and Maude. These pals, this calm, slow voice, that look. Of course, the young man had recently seen this movie and tried to follow Harold. To make it short, it followed my soup, which was overlaid with deliberately shaking hands. In the meantime, the film was changed with an almost fall over an imaginary ice bear head a la dinner for one until my pizza was brought to the table with the words a flying pizza. Everything very strange and not necessarily lead to being received as a guest. Or maybe the hidden camera was on the way, and we just didn't react how you wanted? You'll hear it or not. To the dishes: My onion soup was okay. All fresh, not an iceberg salad, but a green salad, but a little sweet prepared overall. Moreover, it was badly washed because not only the first bite, but also the others were accompanied by tooth cracks. I can't. I wash our sweets from tradition three times (and use the water to pour flowers. My pizza looked good and tasted... okay. Overall relatively taste-neutral. I was glad about the extra garlic. The Schnitzel Wiener Kunst, when I saw her, I thought immediately, oh wei, friteuse and much too long inside. I had the feeling that my wife tasted her. But there was much too dry lemon, for example there was no one. I had to order them first in the kitchen because the service had disappeared to a chat. It was a little better with lemon. I just tried one corner, but for me it looked like finished baked press meat from the freezer. But maybe I'm wrong with someone. It's hard to say purely subjective. Cleanliness I think the menus play there and a visit to the sanitary facilities is also safe. A band of my wife in front of the main court of short laundry there was no toilet paper. All in all, quite negligent, as I find. Conclusion: Too bad, because we had promised much more. All right, until it came to this visit, it took over two years, and now (more than a hundred restaurant visits later we know where we have to go near to get home happy. Even if not with satisfaction guarantee! But that can always happen. That's life. Next visit: not before 2019. "Lunch with two people for 43.60 Euro We had already held the cultural station last Sunday, but were on the way too early. With today's knowledge, I would like to say that we had better tried the mill bag I told last week. The Kulturbahnhof Schwalm Alter Bahnhof Ziegenhain Süd is located directly on the cycle path Rotkäppchenland, about 4 kilometers, so close to its beginning. Bicycle stand and beer garden just a few steps from the cycle path invite you to stay. Actually ingeniously located. Despite the beautiful weather there was less on the cycle path than on the previous Sunday. The available tables in the beer garden were completely occupied shortly after our arrival. Available because about half of the tables were chained together with the chairs and were not freed when a larger Pulk cyclist fell over the culture station. The menus were taken very quickly. But that happened with pleasure. Although at the beginning only four tables were occupied and no guest sat in it, it took 30 minutes to get our appetizers on the table. But above all on the map: very appealing and with a good selection of deliciously titled and described dishes that do not make the choice easy. As a lover of potato soups, at least this selection has already been established for me. To avoid looking at me, my wife chose the Schwälmer Broschetta with fresh herbal tomato cubes on rye mixed bread as an appetizer. Then I decided to go to Pig Naked Steak with roasted onions with roasted potatoes and Schwälmer Schmandsalat. My wife ordered the fitness salad. When I write this report and read the menu again, I feel rightly taken on my arm and not too little! As already mentioned, it took 30 minutes until potato soup and broschetta found the way to the table. In many menus the fresh preparation of the food is already mentioned and it can take longer. HERE this would have been really appropriate once, but missing on the map. I don't know what I got up there as a potato soup. After the potato it did not taste the least. More like seasoned vegetables. A candidate for one of the worst potato soups of my life. Nothing or better after nothing tasting. But at least she looked like a hessian potato soup. My wife's broschetta was a simple tomato bread. Toasted! Rye mixed bread with tomato cubes were the fresh herbs cut liquor and nothing else, no spices, nothing. At least 30 minutes we waited for the main courts. Waiting doesn't matter, we always had enough to say, but here the wait was slow. Unfortunately, I can't lose a good word about the steak. The roast potatoes at the lower end of the roast potato scale. Here too neither bacon nor onions tasted for bacon and onions. I've never seen anything like that. So I wonder what this is? Röstzwiebeln, promised on the map, presented itself as greedy onions and again after nothing tasting. In the flesh, I assume that the taste that he was soaked before quickly, and that it was saved a lot when I seasoned with the spices. And then the side salad is a Schwälmer Schmandsalat . I'm not a Schwälmer, but I don't think Lollo Rosso is a typical Schwälmer salad. The salad was okay, but the crumbs were neither cross nor fresh. All very disappointing. Let's go to the fitness room. Angepriesen with fresh ciabatta. What was delivered was simple white bread. The fresh leaf salads of the season were finally a single salad, Lollo Rosso. At least with delicious dressing and juicy turkey breast. But maybe you can understand now that I feel a little bit taken on my arm. Not only was there something wrong, but a lot. Accordingly, the evaluation is not necessary. We had something else. You can fool yourself.
