"Forelle und Jägerschnitzel waren sehr gut und der Salat frisch. Freundliche Bedienung und Wirtin mit schönen Biergarten unter Bäumen. Eine Terrasse sogar mit Talblick. Preis Leistung super. Qualität sehr gut. Gute badische Küche. Auch Übernachtungsmoglichkeit, bei uns waren viele Biker und Radfahrer, die auch sehr gut gegessen haben. Schöne Schwarzwaldstube innen. Eine Bedienung war etwas rustikal, aber es sei ihr verziehen durch den netten Umgang mit unseren Kindern."

"Die gemütliche wunderschöne Gaststube der "Kreuz Post" atmet Geschichte. Im Jahr 1844 hat Sixtus Schladerer seine Obstbrandmarke Schladerer hier gegründet & Chefkoch Michael Zahn bereitet auch hier schon seit Jahren badische & klassische Küche vom Feinsten. Alles wunderbar zubereitet, ganz besonders lecker schmeckt mir dort der Fisch! Auch der Service angenehm und stets präsent. In den wärmeren Monaten sitzt man auch sehr schön vor dem Haus auf der Terrasse. Dort genießt man zu den Speisen noch die besondere Stimmung in der historischen Altstadt von Staufen. Wir freuen uns schon auf ein nächstes Ma(h)l."

"The Kornhaus is right in the middle of Staufen and has pavement tables (well, on the cobblestones actually) where you can sit and watch the world go by in this pretty little Black Forest town. Food is the usual traditional German dishes - schnitzels, goats cheese salad, etc, served with a touch of refinement and excellent local Rothaus beer. Service is friendly. For desserts, though, it can't compete with the incomparable Decker's patisseries just across the road."

"For more than 20 years, I have come to the Etzenbach Farm Inn, then on a recommendation from a friend who stepped up the trout there as unrivaled in the region. He was right in all matters: At Andrea Dischinger, who is always warm and competent, and her husband Günter, who in the kitchen really proves a golden hand for fresh ingredients and unscrupulous 1A quality, we feel (my husband, friends and I) for years and again. The athmosphere is always pleasant, the salad in advance is one of the most tasty in the region...and when we come to the main food in a cool neighborhood, a holiday feeling is always there. The special thing about this inn: the quality is always the same over the decades, no vulnerabilities, always tasty potatoes cooked to the point (no matter how bad the potato harvest also liked)... Simply thank you for this service and the kindness and congratulations for the obvious success, which also shows that it is better to reserve beforehand so that the palate joy is really nothing in the way. All the others rated anonymously. On this occasion I like to out and say: Thank you Andrea, thank you very much to Günter!"
