"This was our fourth time here, but first out on the patio. The back patio is an extremely relaxing place to dine along the creek. We were celebrating a family event and the food ambiance couldn't have been better. The guests we were with had never been to Peony before and were pleasantly surprised. Service could have been a tad better on that Friday night, but the staff was apologetic and were very attentive once you had their attention."

"We went to P for Mother 's Day. We spent $180 for a lunch for 7 people (no alcoholic drinks) not a good value. The restaurant smelled like a damp rag that has been sitting around for days. I suspect the tables had been wiped with such a rag and carried the odor. It wasn 't horrible but it was annoying. SPEED: Took FOREVER to get food. Appetizers came quickly but main courses took 21 mins and what arrived was incorrect missing sides for example. QUALITY: The Pomegranate Lemonade was more like iced tea with Lemonade. PORTION: Sizes of meals was good. One main course can feed 1.5 people IMO. SERVICE: The waiter had good intentions but was simply overwhelmed with other orders. Drinks were missed, food was missed, had to be reminded to bring napkins and on top of it all, when I asked for the bill....another 17 mins which was finally met with We 've lost your bill and our computer is not working. Do you remember what you had? $180 later I walked away a not happy customer and a non too pleased Mom and Wife."

"We were seated right away but virtually ignored for over 20 minutes. No offer of bread or drinks. Once we finally asked for water, our waitress walked away and we were again ignored. She took our order for food appetizers at the same time. Food was good but service was average or below. Waitress asked how our food was before either of us took our first bite. No offer of drink refills and we had to ask for our check after eating. As the waitress handed us our check, she asked if we wanted dessert. Probably a better choice to ask before handing us our check after an evening of slow service. I probably wouldn't go back. Too many other choices with better service."
