"My husband and I went here for an early lunch and we were very disappointed. Our maki rolls (green dragon and maki roll) were 80% cucumber, and the har gow did not taste good. Even the green tea was sub-par. The service was very friendly,...but that wasn't enough to make up for the food."

"It was probably bad timing, but when we walked in we woke up 3 guys sleeping on chairs in the restaurant. They were clearly embarrassed and we should have turned around and left. However, we had a long day and were tired and hungry so...we stayed. Our mistake. The service was terrible...the soup and tea were luke warm, I never got my rice etc. The sushi was average nothing to brag about. My daughter swallowed something hard but she was ok. Really, we were just too tired to say anything. On the way home she had bad stomach pains...not sure but hopefully not related to anything she ate. Very disappointing. Won't be back."

"A small store front with take out sushi only. It could get crowed during lunch hours so get there early. There are 2 small tables outside for seating, but most people were buying takeouts. I found the sushi rice to be a little under cooked, and the ingredients were nothing to write home about either. Overall I think this place is just average and it might be overrated."

"As a personal quest to find the best sushi restaurant in Ontario....this is one of the best. *Very* attentive staff and service. The sashimi was great. If you're lucky, the chef will give diners a special creation on the house."

"Makimono serves up some pretty good Sushi dishes. First let's get it out there that service was superb and quick. The endeme was however cold and needed more salt. As for the main sushi dishes they were good but did lack flavour in some of...them, textures and temperature were good."
