"Great service and menu. I asked if the different buckwheat crêpes could be made gluten free, and they were fantastic! Since they do use flour in their kitchens, it's possible that cross contamination could occur here."

"The place is really nice in the middle of the Square Victoria. We were 10 people and we did not receive our food at the same time. There was at least 10 minutes difference between the first and the last meal serve. It took a lot of time to pay at the end and the food was OK."

"Once was not enough so we ate here twice on a whirlwind long weekend trip to Montreal. All our selections were deftly and lovingly prepared and served. My husband and I both sampled the salad Nicoise, one with a beautiful gravlax. I lingered over the chai latte replete with floating green cardamom pods. Two days later we indulged in a Sunday brunch. I'm writing this review from memory so forgive any omissions in the description of our food. Bottom line - it was wonderful! Both brunch meals were presented on a wooden board. My choice was amply covered with the house gravlax, two perfectly poached eggs, potatoes, a homemade bread and lightly roasted cherry tomatoes and roquette. My husband inhaled his meat and egg selection. I again ordered the chai latte and it was exquisite. We've never encountered Madagascaran food but if Tsak Tsak is a representation of that country's cuisine, it's fantastic!"

"Their patio is so cozy, private and romantic. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! Loved their selection of wine. Tar tar and duck confit were very delicious too! Very nice place for a date, dinner with friends or family."

"Almost went to eggspectations across the street- but it was too packed, noisey slow service, we left and tried M Cafe far better, food, atmosphere, everything- after an exam, it was the perfect European vibe for brunch!"

"This may seem trivial, but based on the outside of this tavern I expected a cool and maybe a bit dark themed bar. The awnings are black, the logo has a cross in it, I kind of expected a chic goth bar. What I got on the inside was just an average, nondescript bar. While they do have a full bar, they don't really cater to mixed drinks or cocktails. They had mostly wine, beer, and cider. I can't speak to the food as they had stopped serving food at the time we were there. In a city with amazing bars, I'm sad to say, this one wasn't worth the stop."
