"A great little hole in the wall in Chinatown, Kura is excellent for satisfying any type of Japanese food craving. Their menu is extensive and varied, covering everything from sushi and sashimi, to bento, to ramen, to udon, to curry, and many more. <br> <br> You order from an iPad (great for introverts like myself! ????) and service is generally quite prompt. Staff are friendly and attentive and whenever I've been, the restaurant hasn't been too busy. <br> <br> I ordered the unagi don (eel rice bowl) which came with salmon sashimi, udon noodles, sweet potato in a caramel sauce and then a small salad. For those that are a little freaked out, I highly recommend trying eel! It has this beautiful, sweet flavour that works really really well with teriyaki sauce. The eel was cooked to perfection and was an absolute joy to eat. The sashimi was fresh and delicious, and the udon noodles came in a lovely fish broth with nori. The sweet potato was a great inclusion, almost like a little... <a class="read-more" href="#">read more</a>"

"This is seriously an addictive sushi train. I eat here once a week on average and it is so delicious and the sushi is so fresh. The soft-shelled crab sushi is amazing and the spicy seared scallop sushi is so delicate and delicious. Everything is really tasty. It's not cheap for sushi but I think it's worth every cent."

"I find that sushi can be met and missed in sydney and because it is always expensive, it is a downer if it is not a great experience. fortunately, this was not the case. we sat on a table and it was quite empty for a weekday, so we asked to move close to the sushi train. there were options that I have never seen (always a plus! . the pieces I tried were fresh and complicated in presentation and taste. it's expensive, but it doesn't matter to pay more if it's worth it. I recommend the jumping crab! the service is also excellent here and many seats inside."

"A welcome recreation on the top floor of QVB in Sydney. Within a minute to sit I had water with a tiny lemon wedge and it was quickly refilled. It is a refuge with a beautiful bento box full of delicious goods and much Wasabi. I decided to warm everywhere, but they were very nice. A beautiful heavy teapot filled with Genmaicha delivered my key Japan tea. Nice and decadent with Miso $ 50 for one with some of my will!"

"I'm so often telling me, I'll go into a light salmon and avocado salad, but my mouth seems to be unable to express something other than Tan Tan Ramen. So much on the menu, but I can rarely pass on the spicy pork-mince or wagyu beef on miso broth. <br> Always friendly and accommodating staff, quickly turning over, EFT and able to be split into account, come back."
