"The place looks the part, the food is good. But this is the most un-Japanese service I've experienced outside of Japan. We were the 1st ones there and it took them for-legit-ever to serve us. We had to wave a few times (which is next to unheard of in Japan). The service was just so damn slow. One of the best things about Japanese restaurants is the amazing service, maybe I'm biased because I've come to expect a certain level of excellence at a real Japanese restaurant. And like I said, this place has the look and feel but it's just a facade. I hated it sooooo much."

"Konakara is a small restaurant with a pleasant vibe and definitely a place to take your date for an intimate night out. The food was simple, delicious, and authentic with very fresh salmon in the salmon tataki we had. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, especially for a big eater, but generally decent in comparison to other restaurants. Service was friendly and efficient. Will definitely be back."

Located near Central station, Haven is convenient to get to via train. We arrived during lunch time so was a bit busy and noisy, however we were eventually given a seat within 3 minutes. <br>

-Smoked salmon roll- Loved it! Loved the Brioche bun, making it soft, sweet and super easy to eat with knife & fork. All flavours complimented each other really well. Will definitely order again.<br>

-Not an eggs benedict- Very unique, definitely not any ordinary eggs benedict. However, personally preferred the smoked salmon roll more. The mayonnaise in the Not an eggs benedict was very overpowering and there was way too much placed on top. Overall, a nice dish and eggs were soft poached perfectly. <br>

This brunch cafe has its own unique qualities, such a charcoal stick in its water, a side of sultanas with your cup of coffee and decor placed around the interior and bathroom. Would highly recommend."

"Super quick and staff were friendly. Cozy little place 5 mins walk from Sydney central station. Decor was warm and inviting. Good Thai food with a modern twist. Our favourite was the pad see ew, not overly sweet like most Thai restaurant."

"During covid times it was sad to see that tables were dirty. Cutlery and cups were grimy. There was a smell that hung around the cafe which was really off putting. Everything tasted of grease. Not a great experience."

"A beautiful win for purpose café,' to enjoy my cappuccino 3.50) with forkish coffee with beautiful taste and strength. my healthy start in the day of avocado toast, soy and sleek bread, tahini dressing, dukkah 16) is a decent part with tasty aromen and a lot avocado for the victorious friendly service and beautiful decor with a small green rustic courtyard from the back rounds off the picture. the tapioca and halloumi fritter signature court is next to my wishlist."

"Modern Asian menu with a great selection of mains and desserts. After hearing about this place through friends, it was time to try it. I'm glad the food met my expectations and more. There's room for improvement to the fitout and atmosphere though... and the waitresses took their time to take the ordere. Overall, i tried the Ogre Happy meal and found it very inventive. Definitely worth a visit."
