"El Pollo Loco... it's fast, fast, relatively healthy and affordable – especially if you can enter during your running chicken specialties (8 pcs legs and thighs for $5.99). Restaurant ————— Clean and beautiful. I've never been here before, but I wouldn't be against it. Fresh Salsa Bar is well equipped, but I think they have recently taken out the napkin dispensers on all tables. Times are hard, mang. You do not give you the stinking eye if you pay with credit card or ask a large cup for salsa. Convenient situation ————————— Less than one block from the Artesia Denny. Plenty of parking, but boarding and boarding is a kind of train (as expected) during high traffic times. General El Pollo Loco comment ——————————————————————— 1. These cheap, public enterprises. They no longer contain the flour or corn tortillas with your chicken. It's been about 10 years since they started the store. 2. The Guacamole Salsa recipe changed. It used to be as good and actually taste like Guac back a day. Now it tastes and smells like Clorox. 3. The vouchers they issue with your order are annoying. I usually turn it off because it's a waste of paper and I'll never use it. In addition, half of them are for Fosters Freeze (which does not even exist in Cerritos or Artesia: P)."

"Pros: THE SALSA!!! The roasted red salsa is literally my life. Also the burritos are super well wrapped if you tell them to make it spicy, they throw in some delicious fresh jalepeno slices. The super carne asada burrito is my favorite burrito in the city~Cons: When it's packed, it can take a long time to get your food if the security guard isn't around, sometimes you'll get hassled by homeless people asking for your food."

"It's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Their coffee is delicious and carefully put together. I tried the dark and stormy, it was something new for me ginger beer and coffee. Somehow it works out. The food is also great the truffle fries had such a delicious level of umami. The croissants are buttery and flaky to perfection. You gotta give this place a try."

"My food was swimming in a fat powder. bark meat is hard and chewing, like gum. bon overcooked. I think the food quality was very bad and badly cooked over it. the personal is very friendly."

"Party of 7 on a slow Sunday afternoon with very few people inside at tables. The waitress seemingly couldn't understand any of our questions related to the dishes. Several things were slightly off about our orders and my food in particular was greasy, and extremely salty (and I love salt so to say too salty for me is saying something). It also took 15 minutes to get a glass of water which is a bit of time when you've been eating straight salt and you're 15 feet from the refreshment bar."

"Having been here in a few. As always the trays of chicharrones. Three styles Meat and fat, skin fat and little meat and then the standard dry style all home made. I had a carne asada burrito damn still good old school style. This is one of the great mom and pops Mexican pop outs left around. Family run, always hair nets and always customer service friendly. Also have a little pop out at there counter they have Diana tortillas corn and flour. Some can goods just in case you need them, cool Been going here for 20 years now. They close at 5 o' clock everyday check their hours. "My husband and I are OVERJOYED this place has opened up so close to our home. My husband grew up in Hawthorne, and went to the original spot regularly as a teenager and adult. He introduced me to it years ago, and I've been in love since then. Alas, always driving to the Imperial location from East Long Beach became a trek to say the least, so when we spotted a restaurant with the same exact name a block from my parents house, we got curious. Sure enough, it was the same spot (run by the brother of the Imperial location owner), and the quality was spot on. Mind you, we exclusively come here for the Asada burrito. It is just your basic asada, onion and cilantro mix, but the salsa and bean mix inside just makes this item top notch in our books. Personally, I don't think you can come by a more authentic asada burrito. I hope this spot thrives, and I highly encourage everyone to go try it. It's been at least half a dozen restaurants over the years when I was growing up in Cerritos, but I hope this is the last and permanent business to occupy the spot."
