"This place reminds me of our old haunt in Artesia (1970's). We love their Chili Colorado, Carne Asada, tamales, cheese enchiladas their beans are made the old fashioned way!!! We always stop by when we're in the area!"

"This place is just ok. The pizza was very tasty. Our table ordered a chicken and spinach pizza. They were out of spinach. There is literally a grocery store about 2 blocks away down 6th Street so it blows my mind how a restaurant can be out of anything unless it is some specialty item. Tons of cheese and great flavor on the pizza. We substituted ham for the unavailable spinach. We also had a shrimp pasta dish, the veal parmigiana, and a prime rib plate. The proteins were all done well and tasty. The prime rib was tender, juicy, and medium rare just as ordered. Then came the side dish pasta and red meat sauce and the pasta with the veal. That's where this place falls flat on it's face. The sauce is horrific. Had a weird after taste and almost the flavor of raisins or prunes. No flavor of garlic or basil and not good at all. That's like going to a Mexican restaurant and they have bad salsa. They also did not drain the pasta well so the bottom of the dish was just swimming in water and the sauce would not even stick to the pasta. We may go back again for the pizza but that is about it. Service was attentive and friendly but if the food isn't great it doesn't really matter especially when you spend nearly $200 for 4 people."

"They have been coming to this place for 15 years and delicious as usual. I love the salsa picada with jalapeños, carrots, diced tomatoes and orégano, with chips my favorite is a chile verde con chile verde wet burrito, it's really good."

"We won't be back again , we ordered 2 large menudos and 1 small one . My husband says they taste like if they were out of the can . I really don't think they made it fresh like other places . We payed around $85 for 5 people . I thought it was a little pricy . Yes it looks clean and nice inside . The waitress was nice also . One good thing they did give us fresh homemade tortillas."

"Stop for Taco Tuesday, the tacos were excellent with a generous amount of meat for the price of 85 ¢. Tried a sope, Chill Verde Burrito and seafood Tostada and they were excellent. Salsas were very delicious. This place was clean and had very friendly staff. We didn't have to wait long for our orders that were immediately served by our Tacos. The rest of the menu prices are very reasonable here. Beer is also served here."
