"Went in for a quick lunch. Was sat down and greeted. Ordered drinks, tried to order the chicken burrito with vegan cheese as I am lactose intolerant was told I couldn't do that as it was all premade. But I apparently could order the chicken burrito bowl with vegan cheese just not in the wrap. I think it's pretty pointless and unhelpful. Of the 3 or 4 items on the menu I wanted to eat I couldn't have any of them. I wouldn't recommend going here if you have an intolerance to dairy unless you like a fully vegan meal."

"Beautiful location, nice local ale, food average. Bread to nibble on was slightly stale, then had a starter of mackerel with rhubarb, fennel, salsa verdi hazelnut crumb, which tasted alright but the flavours were a bit confused by each other. Main course at lunchtime on a Sunday had to be roast beef, it arrived as two thick slices of tough topside piled on some only just warm veg and soggy ish roast potato, Yorkshire pud was fine but overall not great. Outside BBQ looked like a better option and would go for that next time instead..."
