"I decided to wing it and give this place a try this week. The vibe was that of a typical micro pub. Standing room only at 7:00 pm. waited only about 15 minutes for a table though. The staff was pleasant and not pushy as I looked it over carefully. I started with the appetizer of shrimp. These were spot on! 6 big juicy ones that had some house made beer batter. The dipping sauces were very good but possible I could have done without it as the batter was so good. The shrimp was done just right golden brown with no heavy areas that were too dark. "Previously we were just at the bar when we booked. the business was particularly slow in the bar area. forever to get menus. then forever someone else took our drinks orders. my date ordered a chilled shot mixed drink. I'm asking for a sam adams summer ale. “We don’t have it,” I ask for a beerlist. order a fat tire from the list. “Oh, we don’t have that anymore.” so I order a sam adams from the beer list. “We have not. “I ordered a water half with the expectation that they do not have water at this point. I have the water, but I never touched it. my date did her unchilled (ordered cooled) shot almost got sick because it wasn't what she ordered. we paid for their drinks left for shula where the service was excellent"

"I appreciate most of the food items being gluten free. And the young man was really nice about changing his gloves when I asked. But didn't know or didn't follow protocol when handling allergy requests. I have to say this Chipotle was so much nicer then the one at Tanglewood. Tanglewood starts closing up as early as 2 hours before they close."

"I tried the ground chicken pad ka paow over rice, Thai hot. It was mediocre but satisfying in a sort of mall food-court sort of way, if you know what I mean. The spice level was lower than I expect for ordering "Thai hot". It seems the upper limit for spice here isn't so great.<br>

The flavor is simple and unbalanced. It's dominated by savoriness and saltiness from fish sauce and spiciness from chilis. The ground chicken was somewhat dry and bland. There is a fair amount of liquid present in the bottom of the plate/container that is flavorful but it's so thin that it doesn't stick to the meat."

"Great neighborhood place. We eat here at least every couple weeks and have tried a few different dishes on the menu. All are very tasty and seems to be just enough to fill but not over the top. (Which is good) About the time you get use to one of the taps they will change it out so you get to try different ones. And it will get a little noisy when the place is packed and everyone is trying to hear each other over the dog bone. Great place to meet new people(around the dog bone) or to invite friends."

"This is my favorite place to eat in all of Roanoke. I am glad they opened back up just recently. We ate there 3 nights in a row. I can honestly say I have never had a bad experience or meal here. Everything I have at has been good and the portions are just the right size."
