"We decided to wait for our second visit before writing this review. The first visit was only OK, the second--below average. The setting in an outdoor patio is very pleasant and would have been enjoyable were it not for the legions of flies that surrounded the tables and serving areas. So much so that you had to be continually swatting at them to keep them off the food. The staff seem to be ignoring the problem. The second problem is the service. There are plenty of servers but no good service. At our table of 4 the waiter had to be asked 4 times for one beverage and 3 times for a different one. It appeared that the waiters passed by averting their eyes so as to not be bothered with a request. .As far as food, one of our group ordered a salad with lettuce, apple and cheese that appeared to be put together by a child. The lone piece of cheese was buried beneath a mound of dry lettuce--not appetizing. Three of us ordered the arrachera which as so thin that it didn't matter what level of doneness you requested. We ordered a pitcher of sangria to have with the meal but unfortunately it tasted more like kool aide. For dessert we ordered the baked platino which turned out to be under-cooked and tasteless. We are not picky eaters or diners but this restaurant fell below our standards and I cannot recommend it."
