"Now granted its in the downtown area of Tuscaloosa so parking is the biggest thing to find now that is totally fine. The wife and I went to eat with a friend of mine that I've not seen in years. With the popularity of Taco Mama and the closeness to college dorms and apartments and college housing the wait time was around 30 to 45 mins and that was just on a wednesday night. Now the service/wait staff supper nice and friendly. Menus are brought out to you as you stand in line which helps you when you get to the register to order. I enjoyed a well made shrimp quesadilla and when you order your toppings they are placed in individual cups so you can either add it to your quesadilla as you eat it or before you eat it. Now being as I was super hungry I ignored my utensils and just dipped my quesadilla directly into my sauces. Now I love my wife with my whole heart, with her she chose a safety quesadilla of just chicken and cheese she gave a 3.5 out of 5. I'm not the type to take photos of my food so there is no photo because I had nothing left to show. 10 out of 10 will eat here again"

"Food is good but if you're trying to place a to go order over the phone don't bother. They don't answer. I luckily live close by to the restaurant and just waited in the store for my order. No big deal, but I quite literally was hearing the phone ring off the hook and no one went to answer. They were not busy when this happened. Half the place was empty. Then, when it came time to place my order, the two working the front had a debate as to why the other should take my order (neither one of them wanted to). Very annoying experience."

"Had dinner tonight after Hey Coach the restaurant had obviously been very busy prior to us coming in. But, that did not affect our service or dinner. Our server Momo was exceptional! She was very attentive and engaged in conversation when asked. She stayed on top of things yet didn 't hover. The food was outstanding even though the night was no longer young. Everything was cooked perfect. From the hostess to the cooks to the server, we really enjoyed our night.Running into Dont 'a Hightower after our meal was an added plus ??"

"That was delicious. standard sit americanized mexican restaurant. the service was at the top. I have a little complain: this is the third time that I was recently that there was no music or if it was so quiet that they could not hear it. that is a problem, because the noise of all surrounding conflicts was very intrusive and overwhelming. it was like sitting in a crowded middle school cafeteria. my son experienced a quite intense sensory overload. please bring back the funny Mexican music, or any music, really. thank you!"

"We sat outside for dinner and it was very interesting to watch the people walking by, since it is very close to the university, so it is filled with young people. The top shelf Margaritas were great, service was nice, shrimp, beans, tacos and street tacos were very good!"
