"Let me start with the excellent service but really its the food that i have come here for - expecting smoky spicy bursting with flavour dishes. Ordered the jerk mackerel - the fish flavour overwhelmed any taste of the jerk and the vegetable medly was 80% rice and the vegetables were boiled so had no flavour at $22 for the vegetarian dish i felt fleeced. Save your money and go elsewhere"

"Great lunch out at Blue Fish at Darling Harbour. We visited on a public holiday and were instantly advised of holiday surcharges which we did not mind at all.<br>

We were asked to pick our seats as it was still early and were attended to almost immediately. We decided on the Fisherman's Basket and the Chicken BLT with table water.<br>

The Fisherman's Basket was a variety of seafood (squid, calamari, prawns and fish) seasoned and deep fried. It was served with chips and aioli sauce. The calamari is always a highlight of this dish having the perfect crunch and for not being too stringy. The aioli went well with the seafood choice.<br>

The Chicken BLT was a burger with lettuce and tomato. Reading the menu we were thinking it as more of a wrap but when it came out I definitely was not disappointed. "I really enjoy the food at this restaurant and have never been disappointed with the flavours or serving size. Shout out to the dessert menu! I really enjoyed the ice-cream with red bean paste, it was most delicious. The only thing that would help to make this restaurant a 5 star experience is an improvement in service, especially when eating out with a large group. The service can be quite slow and the meals often come out at different time points."

"They call themselves a gastro pub but it 's not. You order at the bar and they deliver to your table. They have a happy hour from 4-6pm weeknights. I was in line at the bar to order my dinner well before 6pm, but when it...was my turn to order, I was told it was 6:02 and happy hour was over. I ordered the Guinness and steak pie, with mashed potatoes and mushy peas. When it arrived, the mashed potatoes were cold and the peas were whole, not mushed, and some were still cold in the center. The pie itself was warm, not hot, and the steak inside the pie was tough. I think this is a fine place to hang out after work for a drink, but I advise to eat somewhere else."
