"This little cafe is amazing! While passing through Antigonish, we decided to check it out after seeing glowing reviews, and we weren't disappointed. Home baking prepared on the premises (take home their sliced whole wheat!)... fresh ingredients... large portions... great breakfasts (Newfie Breakfast is a killer!)... fantastic burgers (next time!)... amazing fish chowder... some local bottled craft beers... friendly and attentive service by the owner... Not to be missed, but bring an appetite with your love for real honest food!"

"Limited menu shown on wall near order counter. Food ordered at counter but delivered to table when ready. Clam chowder was excellent. Hoagie sandwich was also good. We thought fries were very good. Decor was bright clean booths. Service was very good. Interesting choices on menu. Reasonably priced. Recommended for a simple, quality meal whether breakfast or lunch."

"Tim Hortons is rightly described as a Canadian institution, and I can’t imagine vacationing in Canada without stopping for coffee and a Boston creme in at least one Tim Hortons. This particular store is a fine example of the brand. It’s conveniently-located, clean, and offers friendly service, delicious coffee and fresh sugary treats in wholesome surroundings. You can’t get table service and a full breakfast here, but you sure can have a fine coffee-and-donut experience."

"I had different expectations from a 'tea room '. The outdoor sign is actually rotting above the door. This place is an old, tired watering hole. Everything about it is dusty, stained and sticky with open shelves of dishes behind the counter. That being said, our food was good. I did not find the staff (stained aprons and all) particularly friendly and the prices were average. If you 're a regular, I 'm sure it 's a lovely place to dine but not a tourist destination, imo."

"Average place with average food. Good menu choices and something for everyone. Reasonable prices. Ok wait staff. Good off street parking. It was good but not one of the places I will remember a year from now."

"If I could give this place six stars I would. We landed there because of some confusion on Google maps about a different restaurant that turned out to be kind of a dive. The Waffle Bus Stop is located inside an eclectic little yellow house, a stone's throw from St. FX. As advertised the major menu items all include waffles, but not just any waffles, thick chewy waffle wraps yet. In my experience a totally unique concept. They feature two to three specials daily, but their regular menu includes such memorable items as: the Steak And Cheese waffle, the Ranch Hand Waffle I had this one (chicken, bacon, and veggies wow), and many others. You can choose either dine in or the front balcony, but whatever your choice feel free to ask the staff about any of the menu items. They are knowledgeable and friendly, and really helpful with your selection. BTW, prices are reasonable too! Bon appetit!"
