"Must say I was quite upset to find that La Banette has closed its doors along Glebe Point Road, but happy to report Avalon and Mosman are still going strong. The menu is somewhat less than Glebe, however they still have good sandwiches, pastries, cakes, tarts and croissant all made in the true French style! Long live La Banette!"

"A friend of mine who lives around this area mentioned that this cafe makes the best coffee in the north shore so naturally I had to try one. We ordered Cappuccino, flat white and a lemongrass tea. Coffee was made impeccably it looked amazing and it taste pretty good too but if you are fan of a strong coffee you will find this a little weak. I will come back to try breakfast menu next time.

"We had brunch after a lovely Sunday mid morning hike down in Mosman. We had the chicken quinoa salad and poached eggs on toast, coffees and freshly squeezed green green juices. The beverages were nice. I enjoyed my salad but it needed a little bit more chicken to make it complete. Slightly salty but not over powering. The poached eggs were cooked well. The service was quick and to the point. One little critique - the tables needed to be wiped with a fresh cloth and spray/wipe. It had a funny "eggy" smell..."

"Like it, love it!. I can only speak highly of this place. I think the sandwiches are tasty and authentically original. For me its the ideal place for my lunches, which are usually on the run I reckon its some of the best coffee I know in Sydney. Being an on-the-road salesperson, I frequent cafes all throughout Sydney and this definately rates at the top of my list. I just wish there would be a few more around Sydney, as I reckon so many places have lost the art of making a tasty sandwich and coffee."
