"Chanced on Gus's whilst window shopping , and we were glad we did . Friendly greeting from the two waitresses , quick presentation of menus and drinks , followed by a great Club sandwich , and a Burger with fries - enough for 4 people , but we dug in and chomped our way through an enjoyable lunch whilst watching Picton main street drift past the window .My only complaint might have been that the a/c was set a bit too low ."

"A friend of ours brought a raspberry,peach pie to our house in Kingston, On. And, it was delicious. It was a very generous size and very reasonable price. I'm tempted to drive from Kingston to Wellington, just to buy more pies and freeze some of them."

"The food was tasty but the service was very, very poor. One staff seemed competent but our waitress unfortunately was not up to the task. Delay in getting the bill then a greater delay in being able to pay the bill to the point that we took the bill to the bar and tried to expedite the process."

"I went regularly to Vic Café when it was next to the cinema before it was renovated and I loved the vegan bowl and options they had. After it was renovated, I didn't like the atmosphere as much as it was less chic and more fast food as with perpetrator bags on the menu. the vegan bowl I loved had various ingredients and was not as delicious as before! disappointment"
