"We had a birthday party for 18 here last week and expected this would test the establishment but it did not. We have eaten here in small groups many times before and have been very happy with the food and the service. On this occasion we were able to select many different dishes that allowed us to experience the range of food we had not tried before. Out of all the dishes served every one was considered to above average. This is an excellent place to go for an inexpensive meal for two up to a banquet for many. If you do the banquet I suggest you ring before and organise it."

"Food quality was really good with good sized portions and each dish had quite distinct flavours. The Chefs special dish was an authentic Thai dish with a reasonable amount of heat but very tasty indeed. Service was friendly and smiling although at times it was...a little slow-ish. Good value. Given the standard of the food, I would go again as there were a number of dishes on the menu I would like to try"

"A new dumpling place in Carnegie, yes, another option for dumplings, this time, it is dumpling buffet, what a novel idea! <br/ <br/ The kiddos enjoyed cooking their own dumplings, which is such a great way to encourage them to go for the healthier option then their beloved pan fried dumplings. Each tray comes in 6 so you can sample different flavours which is difficult in a regular dumpling place unless you are with a super large group. If you still prefer pan fried dumplings, you can still order them from the kitchen. <br/ <br/ Besides dumplings, they've also got other hot cold dishes served in buffet style (only the dumplings you've got to cook it yourself). We liked the honey chicken, mapo tofu, satay chicken, red bean pancake. The kiddos enjoyed the prawn crackers, jellies ice cream, all in price!"

"A small family run Indonesian restaurant in Camberwell, this one surprised us with an extensive menu.Traditional Balinese cuisine, with a good selection of vegetarian options in entrée and mains.The service was great, husband and wife team, cheerful and helpful.We ordered 4 entrées to share for 6 and 2 main dishes. The portions were quite generous and we did not feel hungry.The dessert options were pretty good as well, ordering 5 desserts to share, the portions were adequate.Positives: Good sized portions, food arrived fresh and piping hot.The descriptions were pretty good and proprietor helpful in making choices.Stand out dishes were the gado gado and sayur urap. The janganan bali was pretty good as well.The pancake & ice cream dessert was very different.Negatives: small restaurant with a take-away joint like vibe.While the restaurant is a BYO, only coke/lemonade was available, which was quite disappointing.The spice levels were quite low, we asked them to give us some red chillies to add to the dishes, surprisingly the spiciest item was the dessert rujak manis with a red chilly dressing!The Balinese couple who run the place were very charming and as we were the only patrons at the place, the wife came out to chat with us. We'll be back again!"
