"As locals, we regularly visit Phat Monk for both eat-in and takeaway. The staff are very friendly and always welcoming.Our favourites are the spring rolls, satay skewers, pad see yiu, chilli jam stir fry, massaman curry (with no pineapple thankfully!) and the larb. We have a lot of Thai food and it's fantastic to find a great local Thai restaurant with such fresh and yummy dishes.We've also taken family here who have never eaten Thai before. The staff ensure the dishes aren't too hot for our first timers but are so full of flavour we leave with converted Thai lovers!"

"I saw that the Duke had changed their vegetarian/vegan menu and went to try it out. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed in the vegan schnitzel. The schnitzel was absolutely tiny and was essentially nutmeat. It was one of the worst vegan schnitzel I have had...(and I have had a lot of vegan pub schnitzels). It 's only saving grace was the gravy. The chips and salad were great but overall I was quite disappointed. Atmosphere and service were also good."
