"Shin Sen replaced what used to be Wasabi. Don’t worry, they’ve kept the teppanyaki. I believe you can choose between a Taiwanese banquet or a Japanese banquet both $39.90 per person. The regular menu includes a limited number of sushi rolls and sashimi platters, a selection of grilled and fried items such as yakitori and karaage chicken, some hearty sounding main courses served on sizzling plates and clay pots, and a small selection of noodles like yaki udon and ramen. "Went late Friday night, not busy at all. Quite a large menu I chose the Tofu Hot Pot and my partner got the Mock Pork Cutlet. The tofu hot pot was delicious, seasoned and cooked to perfection. However my partner wasn't too impressed with the pork cutlet. It wasn't breaded and a little bit flavourless. Would go again but probably not over another vegan restaurant."

"There with my fiancée for Valentine's Day. it was a little late to book and was happy to get an outside table. it was a nice place to eat outside as it was quiet and pleasant and not too hot. the service was a little slow when I think they were understated. Set menus for 2 courses was reasonable and the choice made easy, but eating was a little disappointing for what we thought was a "fancy' restaurant. the price was reasonable. the drink service was slow, and they probably missed some extra drinks, from is in the run of our meal."

"The fish and chips is the go on a sunny non-windy day or when the sun starts to go down in summer. Can be very noisy with young kids running round screaming (mostly having fund chasing birds)."

"Had the pho, fried whole barramundi, clay pot rice with duck, and mixed vegetables. Everything was delicious and service was great - they kept topping up our water, explaining a bit about the food, and the owner/chef came out for a chat at the end.

"I've dined here twice over the past 10 days. The food is excellent Cantonese style Chinese food. I'd particularly recommend the sizzling fillet steak in BBQ sauce - not something I'd usually order but I saw it being delivered to the next table and it looked fantastic. I was not disappointed. The sauce was like a plum sauce with hints of spice. The vegetable dishes are excellent too. It's a good 'cheap and cheerful' restaurant. Just expect a lack of service and you won't be disappointed."

"I've moved in to taste the food. first Friday after covid lockdown version. they immediately said they were in the position. to be honest, there were only two of us and the whole middle series of tables were empty. it would have been good to sit on the back. somehow we went and went to taj agra, who saved the day to dinner in relation to the denial of another business. We will certainly return here. first impressions and all."
