"We have driven past this little unassuming "shack" on the side of the road numerous times and always wondered about the many people standing in the order line. We decided to stop yesterday, based on a recommendation from a "foodie" we met at a Happy Hour Friday event. The shrimp and prawn taco I had was great! Admittedly i haven't had that many fish tacos and the very best I've ever had was prepared by my daughter Bronwyn (in case she's reading this), but the prawn and shrimp taco I ordered on a corn-flour tortilla (gluten-free) was GREAT! Another one of those "Dives" that The Locals all know about but tourists miss that serves fabulous food. Highly recommended. They are celiac aware and have numerous gluten-free options. Apparently service can be slow at times (due to the number of people ordering) but we only waited about 15 min. Parking can be "tight" for the same reasonBut don't let any of this put you off stopping."

"Was in for brunch this past week and was enamored by the exquisite service and tasty food. From the moment I was welcomed I felt a kind and warm environment. My beautiful waitress (Gulia with a G) was not only friendly but also timely and caring. It is not everyday hat your server engages in meaningful conversation with you while efficiently attending to all the restaurant! I highly recommend the breakfast to all Qualicum Beach travellers! (especially if you are looking for a place with a nice view)"

"Lovely, airy, modern west-coast-vibe with a beautiful bar area, sports on the 3 big TV's,warm, friendly service and great food. This new eatery in Qualicum Bay is a winner!We stopped for lunch and although they offer only a limited menu (including a kid's menu) and a daily special there's something for everyone. I ordered the Twisted Shrimp and my husband had the Bison Sliders with crispy fries - both excellent! It's really nice to have a restaurant with great food close to home. We'll be back!"

"The food, service and meal were terrible.mwe will not return there were fewer than two other tables occupied, but it took over 20 minutes for someone to come and bring us a menu or greet us.The food was tasteless and not hot ,not what we expected at all. It was such a disappointing meal and not cheap either."
