"My friend was camping in qualicum Bay and while visiting we decided to go out to grab a bite. We stopped at this bright little truck as soon as we saw a sign saying "perogies"... I think it's an involuntary thing! We both ordered the perogy boats and sat at one of the brightly painted picnic tables. The food came out quick, hot and delicious. I was surprised the that perogies were deep fried but it was good to have a little crunch with the soft fried onions. The sour cream wasn't that low fat stuff, it was perfect with the indulgent meal. We ate outside in the sun, the ocean just across the road, what a stunning setting for a meal. What really impressed us was when the owner stopped by our table to ensure everything was alright. You don't see that often in the food truck business. I ordered a couple dozen of the handmade perogies to take home, as it is hard to find quality like that in any store. We will be back soon when we need some comfort food and excellent service. Try these guys out, you'll leave full and happy!"
