"I phoned to order pizza looking at their menu they have a whole wing section they say they have two for one pizzas ice for a two for one pizza you said yes so I said give me two Hawaiians and two bacon cheeseburger. There was a back and forth about did Iwant four pizzas I said yes for the two for one right and then I asked for wings and he hung up I then went down to the store toask him why he would hang up on a customer because of miscommunication he called me passive aggressive. great pizza bad businesssense"

"Visited Ho Tongs on March 4 for lunch. We had been to this restaurant a year prior and the soups were great, so we returned in hopes of a repeat performance. What a let-down. The 3 of us each ordered a different soup and we all had a spring roll. The spring roll was average, but the soup was not good. We were assured the soup would have vegetables, but instead there were a few pieces of bok choy. The soup broth was bland and not worthy of eating. We were all disappointed, which was unfortunate given our memory of great soup from the year before. I will not recommend this restaurant and will not return to it!"

"We came for lunch yesterday. Arrived right at opening. I ordered deep fried won tons for my picky son, he wouldn't eat em , but they were great - what was expected. I had the ginger beef lunch special,it's my go to. Crispy hot fried beef in a spicy sweet sauce, fried rice and chicken with mixed veggies. All served On one plate. Hot, fresh , delicious! My aunt had the wonton soup which she raved about as just perfect. Definitely a great spot for quick and simple Chinese lunch. Takeout is avail and they are open for dinner. I've only been for the lunch specials - they have like 10 choices of meals at lunch. Kinda a hole in the wall but totally unexpected and delicious. Service is friendly and efficient. Well done :)"

"The reception was good,the waiter excellent,the room felt comfy and quiet enough so one could have a pleasant conversation.One meal, which included salmon was good,the other with shrimps had plenty of vegetables which were unforunatly soaked in a sauce spoiling the rest.All in all,if you like a simple meal at a fair price in an ok setting,then this restaurant is fine."

"I'll never go back. 32,00 for everyone who can eat sushi. there were only three of us. each order from the menu is a piece. I'm glad I asked how big each job is. I can't imagine if I don't. had a piece sashimi per order. we ordered what we thought was enough to eat, but it wasn't. So we waited for half an hour to command another because the waitress did not come near our table until then. then half an hour later, after I asked if it was still coming, it came. until then we were so angry at what seemed to be a mission to stop everyone from having a proper meal there under a two-hour sitting limit. it is not a good place to go. we will go back"

"I had heard mention that Little Thai Place was a good place to go for lunch so we, as a family, went to the one on Quadra St in Victoria. Two of us chose the spinnach and chicken dish with peanut sauce. It was tasty. Very nice sauce. It was peaceful and quiet in there and we could carry on a good conversation without having to talk over a lot of noise. The people serving were polite and pleasant. Very good."
