"Best Pizza in Ottawa. The pizza here is my favourite in Ottawa. The crust is what makes it, but they have pretty gosh darned good pepperoni too. If you're into the classic pizzeria type pizza, this is the best pizza ever. I LOVE the way the place looks, like it hasn't been renovated since 1973. It brings me a very pleasant sense of nostalgia. The service is super friendly. They even write nice things out in ketchup for you on the pizza plate when they serve it to you. Their pizza is amazing, their salad is pretty good, their pies are exquisite. Also, the hallway you walk through to get into and out of the restaurant includes arcade games like the Love Doctor. So, if you want a blast from the past and you love pizza, this is the place to go. I hope it doesn't change. Edit: I previously said something about the soup not being so great on account of it being out of a can, but have since been told that the soup is in fact homemade; you just have to order the soup of the day, otherwise you'll get canned soup. I can't wait to try the homemade soup at Louis'! I bet it's delicious."

"If you like exotic, international flavours - then the food here is for you, it was a true delight. The cuisine is from the African country of Djibouti. The owner is friendly, kind and very pleasant. If you are not familiar with the food (in my case), he will make good recommendations. The menu is small, but the flavor is BIG, complex spice mixtures will make your taste buds sing. My friend and I took the mixed platter, which has beef, chicken and rice, plus a salad. The rice is prepared with what I believe to be (at the very least) cardamon, cinnamon, perhaps some cayenne but definitively something spicy. Added to the rice were carmelized onions and a red/ green pepper mix. The meat was stewed until tender and mixed in a delicious sauce. The ingredients were of a very high quality, salad fresh and crisp, meats lean and tender. Simple ingredients, delicious, healthy is the summary of the food. I must add that the portions are quite generous. The restaurant is very small in a little strip mall at the intersection of Montreal Road and North River Road. It may not look like much from the outside and it is not fancy by any means, but the food is so amazing that it is worth a visit. The owner did ask if we wanted the dish spicy or not, so I am guessing the heat could be tamed if you wish. A fragrant tea followed the meal to put the perfect finishing touches on a most memorable culinary experience."
