"We reserved for Sunday lunch on a sunny day, the location is amazing and the restaurant gives a beautiful view of the Seine river. We were seated immediately and we’re happy to chat for 10 minutes without attention. The restaurant is manned by the maître ‘d Who also seems to be the owner and three very young apprentices. The patronne comes over visibly annoyed that my husband sought her attention with an inquiring glance. I have to keep the order of arrival was our greeting without the hint of a smile. I inquired how the lobster was cooked, obviously the question was unusual and unappropriate because she got all flustered and told me it is cooked in water .I got the impression she didn’t want me to take the dish when she answered so abruptly Good service is supposed to make you such a description of the items on the menu that you feel an appetite for it, it has to reflect how enthusiastic the chef is about his food. Today this was not the case. Same thing for the desserts we were asked to choose the desserts at the beginning of the meal but nothing was done to make it palatable to us. Also often people like to order dessert according to How full they feel after the meal. Forcing people to choose at the beginning of the meal is certainly a viable proposition for the restaurant, I doubt they would sell as many desserts if they left the decision for the end of the meal The three young apprentices were very concentrated on their jobs but clearly at the very beginning of their training: they filled the bread basket rather consistently but always with four rolls when we were five at the table. I was seated at the end of the table and they brushed my chair and even one time my body every time they went behind me. The food was quite wonderful. Lobster was delicious, fish was delicately prepared , every one at the table was happy. Desserts were not up to the level of the savory dishes, my mango and chocolate dessert didn’t taste great. All in all ,a nice discovery of location and food marred by unpleasantness of owner"
