"We visited Musicker three times during our weeks stay on the island. It is a lovely cafe with a totally vegetarian menu with lots of vegan options. The sausage sandwiches are yummy and the cauliflower soup was delicious. The cakes are also wonderful and there were four vegan options!!! Amazing. A vast array of plant based milks for cappucinos. The staff are all absolutely lovely and very friendly and welcoming, they also love dogs and allow dogs at the front two window tables. Cannot recommend highly enough, we will be back on our next trip for sure!!"

"The latest reviews suggested slow service so we expected it to be slow but we weren't in s hurry. Ordered Irn Brews starter and main courses. Irn Brews took minutes to arrive, starter minutes and main courses hour. It...would have been nice if the staff told us of the delay but no luck there. On the plus side, the food was excellent and as the establishment is dog friendly it was a bonus for us. Hope they get some staff who can go faster than a snail as it used to be an excellent place to eat as earlier reviews suggest."

"On our last day here, killing time before the ferry, decided to try luncheon here. No expectations either way. And we were TOTALLY wowed it was just excellent. Trying not to put too many superlatives in this review, but it was really, really ace. We had a lovely table by the window overlooking the harbour where you could see dog walkers, children in wellies, crabbing, and little boats coming and going. Classic Islay. Then I have to mention the food. Jeez, it was top notch, and huuuuuuuge portions. I don’t think we’ve ever had four such consistently generous and fulfilling portions before. We had the scallops (massive, juicy, plentiful , the Crofter’s Platter, which was cheeses, hams, sausage rolls, salad, bread, chutneys; the soup massive bowl, loadsa crispy sourdough bread, and the fish and chips which was so big it draped over the plate! All delicious. Our guy, Andrew, was superb, so attentive and smiley and always bringing us more things, spoons, drinks, more bread, spoons, he was great. And we had a lovely chat with the very friendly and nice proprietor. She was wonderful. Really seemed to care about the place and her team. She told us all about the hotel and stuff it was really cool. We will most certainly come back here next time. You can’t necessarily get the best table every time, but we won’t mind if we don’t! : Oh, also, lovely clean loos!"

"Ideally located by the ferry terminal and great for a coffee while waiting to board. Both inside and outside seating. Coffee was made to perfection. A selection of home made cakes are also available. The guy who runs it, Steve' is very friendly. Also acts as a bar and gift shop."
