"I can't find the cake to express my satisfaction with the service and eat it! these people regularly go out of their way to provide me their excellent service all the way away in Hartford while they offer grad a service! it seems as if an excellent customer service had been a thing of past, but not with this restaurant. they go beyond and beyond each time and I salute them for their excellent service. "Ordered food a few weeks ago. The food was great, the service was great. I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars for the whole experience. Last night I ordered, and it was a different story. They said 15-20 minutes for our pick-up order to be ready. We arrived at about the 15 minute mark, and it wasn't ready (no big deal). I overheard some chatter that suggested they hadn't even started our food. They did not communicate this to us, they simply let us wait another 20 minutes without saying anything to us. We live within walking distance, they could have told us that there was a mistake and that they didn't start the food, and I would have been so much happier than saying nothing to us. The place is dirty, and the staff are rude, inattentive, and they look physically grimy. The long nails are unsanitary, as the lady who handed the slice of cake my wife ordered to us, there was frosting on her finger (gross). The actual food we ordered was nearly perfect. The fries were severely undercooked. Our actual entrees were pretty good. The chef probably felt rushed and that's why we received undercooked fries. The correct thing to do would be: Own the mistake, apologize, let us know the course of action, and do it right. We would have waited maybe five extra minutes, but our overall experience would have been way better. I see lazy management, resulting in untrained and unprofessional employees. Seriously, clean the inside of this place. Every surface is sticky. It's disgusting. Clean the fridge where you keep the cakes. The glass is filthy. You can do better. I've seen you do better. Reach out to me if you want to make this right."
