"If you find yourself in Eugene, Oregon, Cornbread Cafe is a must try. They serve breakfast classics, salads, sandwiches, and a $16 BYOM which comes with an entree, two sides, and delicious jalapeño cornbread. I had the chik’n fried tempeh with gravy and enjoyed every bite. The crunchiness and spice of the breading is top notch, and the country gravy it came smothered in tastes just like my mom used to make it. No complaints about the sides either! The only issue we had was the cinnamon roll, which was so tough that I could barely chew it enough to swallow. However, I am sure that the baked goods are excellent early in the day— my mistake was ordering a cinnamon roll at 4 in the afternoon."

"I’ve been loving coming to this place for years. The last several times I’ve been there, the quality of their bagel sandwiches have gone downhill. Yesterday I got cranberry and turkey. Almost no cranberry sauce, was only on one side of sandwich, even less creme cheese and lettuce was mostly slimy. Similar issues with other sandwiches many times. Very sad. The bagels are great. But I’ll forgo the (used to be fantastic sandwiches) in the future."

"Love this place. Sausage choices are many. I like you can order the condiments you want. The fries here are fantastic. But I do suggest one side will feed two people very easily. My buddies order their fries dirty which is not to my liking but they lovethem. Good service and owner spends a lot of time checking on his customers.
