"I am surprised that this place has no more reviews! My father and I came across the butchery during the trip to Salzburg and LOVED the experience. You can visit the butcher (and bring meat, etc. with you to cook), or order meat, sausage, carving, potatoes, salad etc. and eat in the restaurant. We went to share for a whole 1.2 kg of pig cock (schweinshaxe), as well as fried potatoes and cucumber salad. It was an enormous portion, and we paid no more than €20 (including drinks). The pork cock was delicious, super crispy and with delicate meat. Served entirely on a traditional wooden plate with a strong mustard and horseradish, this meal was definitely the most unforgettable during our 2 weeks road trip. My father even had to take the leftovers from the bastard and ate it later this day. Would like to visit again and eat our way through the selection!"

"I visited with my wife for some lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. With mountains all around, the scenery is wonderful. We enjoyed a simple l of beef, pork and chicken with fries and vegetable. Very tasty and not too expensive. Very polite staff completed...the deal. I would stress that this is rural Austria. The menu was totally in German so some knowledge of he language is helpful, however little."
